Coast Guard rescues teen after fall from the Carnival Fantasy's mast

Clearwater, Florida -- The U.S.  Coast Guard today rescued a  teenager who suffered a head injury when he fell from a mast on a cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico. 

He was identified only as Tyler King, 18. His hometown was not known.

The U.S. Coast Guard said its assistance was requested by the Carnival Cruise Ship Fantasy late this morning when the 739-foot vessel was cruising  about 250-miles west of Clearwater Beach...
