Distinguished Doctors for Interactive Health & Wellness Enrichment Programming
LOS ANGELES -- An impressive dossier of distinguished specialists in various fields of health and wellness from the renowned Cleveland Clinic will set sail on eight worldwide cruises with Crystal Cruises in 2007. As part of the luxury line's Creative Learning Institute enrichment program, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of complimentary interactive classes and workshops led by top physicians from one of the country's most prestigious medical centers. From learning about how to manage headaches and arthritis (while traveling through Northern Europe) to tips for a healthier golf game (aboard a Trans-Ocean crossing), approximately three classes will be scheduled on each cruise.
Crystal Cruises also provides a "Travel Tips from the Cleveland Clinic" section on its website at www.crystalcruises.com under "Before You Sail," which offers tips from the Cleveland Clinic on "Food and Water Considerations While Traveling," "Immunization Considerations When Traveling Abroad," "Overcoming Jet Lag," and "Traveling with Asthma."
"Crystal's guests are educated and informed and they want to enrich themselves on vacation. They also want to know that they are learning from credible professionals who will share cutting edge research," says Kristin Turner, Crystal Cruises' manager of entertainment who oversees the program. "The Cleveland Clinic is one of the most respected hospitals in the world. It's no surprise that the feedback on these programs has been exceptional."
