Valencia facility mirrors stages aboard cruise ships
The 28,000-square-foot property in the Valencia Industrial Center includes five studios for the performers of the on-ship shows to practice in, along with 2,000-square-feet of space for the international cruise liner's IT department, according to Martin Hall, vice president of entertainment and passenger program for Princess Cruises. The new building allows Princess Cruises, which already has its corporate headquarters in Santa Clarita, to centralize all the practice sessions held for their dozens of entertainment shows performed on the stages of its nearly 20 ships....
With a smash of the bottle, a pop of brightly colored confetti and a cut of a red ribbon, Princess Cruises celebrated the opening of its new rehearsal studios in Valencia on Friday.
