The nationally recognized Bay Area Discovery Museum is a one-of-a-kind indoor and outdoor children's museum for children ages six months to eight years. Located on seven and a half acres under the Golden Gate Bridge in Fort Baker in Sausalito, the Museum's unique programs feature hands-on art, science and environmental exhibitions, performances, special events and cultural festivals ... all with a focus on fun!

Tuesday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed Mondays, except when noted.

The Museum is closed on Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day and the last two weeks of September.
