Island Princess Cruise & Tour Booked

We just booked our first Alaskan cruise =docdance

Going Southbound on the Island Princess, after a cruisetour: Anchorage, Denali Princess & 2 nights at Mt. McKinley Lodge. Have no idea what to expect, don't know much about Alaska. So excited and looking forward to the scenery and wildlife viewing.

I would sure appreciate any comments or tips anyone has to share about any aspect of our trip. I'd love to hear about the lodges and railtour as well.

Hi- we are going on the Arctic cruisetour on the Coral Princess on August 18th-tour 1st- this is our 11th cruise, but 1st Princess (we been on the Norway, Royal Caribbean, Costa, and Carnival). Any info about Princess and/or the cruisetour would be welcome.

Unfortunately, we never made it on this cruise, as my husbands health took a turn for the worse. We hope to some day go on the same itineray. I hope that you have a wonderful vacation :)

We did not do a cruise tour but did take the Island Princess southbound from Whittier to Vancouver. Our cruise was fabulous and we really enjoyed our day in Glacier Bay. If you have specific questions I would be happy to try and answer them for you. I hope you enjoy your Alaskan adventure as much as we did. We are planning another Alaskan cruise for June of 2009.
