Princess Cruise Tour
Anyone done the cruisetour with Princess staying at one of their lodges, if so, which lodge and can you give me an comments. We're having a hard time deciding, they all look great. Are there activites at the lodges and are they all inclusive?
Thanks.

Re: Princess Cruise Tour
They are NOT all inclusive(unless stated). Beverages and meals are extra. We stayed at Denali and Copper River. Denali is far more commercialized if you want to call it commercialized, they had a Subway sub shop LOL. Plus stores/tour companies within walking distance.
Copper River is out in the boonies. The closest store is 80 miles away and is as secluded as they come. Not much to do on your own at CR unless R&R. We did all the tours with the Princess. We did the ATV tour which was one of the many highlights. Yes, you get dirty, think disposible travel lol
IMO both places are beautiful. No planned free activites, like trivia or bingo etc.
You cant go wrong with anything you do or go for Alaska.

There was shuffleboard and horseshoes at Copper River.

Re: Princess Cruise Tour
Thanks for the input. I've got the travel agent currently looking at the Denali \ Mt. McKinley lodges, because I thought the Copper River might be too remote for my husband. Anyone stayed at the Mt. McKinley Lodge.
