Roatan and Mexico troubles

We were planning a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico; Belize City, Belize; Roatan, Honduras; Costa Maya, Mexico and I was told that someone's niece recently went there and they couldn't stop in any of those ports because of burnings in Roatan and the shootings in Mexico. Does anyone know anything about this? If there is any chance of this I don't want to book this cruise. Thanks for any help you can give me.

We cruise these ports last April & they were just find --- no problems

I don't know where you're getting your info but I'd change sources. None of these ports have been skipped and I have heard no news of the things you have mentioned in Cozumel or Belize.

This is a great itinerary. I would not hesitate to book it.

The cruiseline would not put you into a port that was that dangerous. Even Jamaica isn't that bad.

I like all of those ports - never had any issues. I'd say go for it.

Go to Roatan before it becomes another Cozumel..we used Victor Bodden for our tour... Cozumel, well it isn't the same place we went to years ago, disappointing.

I agree with Clackey, the cruise line is not going to put your life at risk i a dangerous port. Book your cruise, you won't regret it!
