    Got my Docs! Questions...

I'm so happy that my documents came over the weekend!! arty

First question: There is nothing inside for me to fill out since I did it on-line. So, am I all set?? I just have to have that pre-printed form ready to hand them? All it has on it is our names, address, ship info and emergency contact.

Second question: What is that charge account signature for? I don't get it... Is that for on-board charges? Only because it has the price of our cruise on it as well. Which is paid for. Do I have to use the same credit card I charged the cruise with or can I bring another one? I wanted to bring my RCI card to use.

Third question: Luggage tags. Do we put those on ourselves, or do they have do it at check-in or something?

Sorry if these questions sound silly, but I just want to be sure!!

If you filled out the online documention and it's pre-printed in the book, you're all set. They will rip out the form when you get to check-in. Just sign the contract page.

Charge account form is for your onboard purchases charged to your Sea Pass card. You can use a different card than what you used to pay for the cruise. I never fill that page out. They just take my charge card at check-in and run it through the machine.

Luggage tags depend on whether you purchased your own air, don't put them on until you collect your luggage at the airport. If you purchased air from the cruise line, put the tags on the luggage prior to leaving home.

    Have a great cruise!

    Congrats!! =docdance

If you pre-registered online then you should be all set if there was nothing in your docs for you to fill out. When you check in at the terminal, you can change charge cards if you want for your shipboard account. I have not yet sailed on RCI, so Im not familiar with their docs... so wait and sign it when you get there. They will assume you want to use the same credit card as what you paid with (thats easy and quick for everyone, but not necessary). As for luggage tags, you can fill those out if needed and put them on yourself. I would suggest to wait until you are close to leaving though so they dont get torn off. Hope you have a good time!

You don't sound silly in your first post. All of us sweat on the detail. I like the cat next to your signature on your first post, looks like Emma our British Blue cat.

Oh and like Ali said the luggage tags depend on if you booked air through the cruise lines or on your own.Follow what she said and you will be fine :thumb

Thanks everyone for responding so quickly!!! :grin I feel much better now that I have the answers I was looking for!

I purchased my own air, so I won't put those tags on until I get to the ship!

(To Elswick: I have cats too and even though I'm sooooo looking forward to this cruise, I'm gonna miss them!)

    Re: Got my Docs! Questions...

On the cruise-addicts boareds, you are always in the right place to ask even the smallest question, as this is one generous group of cruise fans. I have to say, before we took our first cruise last year, it almost felt as if we'd never traveled before. I'm not sure why...I guess cruising seemed so unusual and there were lots of odd little processes to learn and tips to pick up. So we asked plenty of questions that were always met with helpful responses from Ali and many others.

Thing is, once you get on that boat, you pretty much can go on auto-pilot. In the long run, it doesn't really matter what you've packed or how much you've prepared, you'll have a great time all the same. Enjoy!

Congraulations!!!!!!! I am sure you will be addicted after this cruise. Doing the online registration works great. In my documents everything was filled out for me, but I did have to fill out the form to go to Nassau, It was ingriation paper or something like that. Other than that I had the embarkation ever.

    Have fun on your cruise.
