Hi, anyone out there booked on this new ship? I couldn't resist the coupon in my C&A so I had to try it. Anyone been on board yet? I just ordered an updated catalog that includes new pics of this ship, and I'm excited to be a part of it's first year.

I'm sure you will love RCL. This will be my second cruise with them, and it was a hard choice to make regarding what ship, but I am sure we will enjoy this new ship. I'm sure you will love it as well. You will be there before me, so I will look for your review.

We will be sailing on the JOS on October 28...9 nights...from Boston...all the way to Aruba, Cuaracao, San Juan and into Fort Lauderdale.

We are really looking forward to all the sea days. I have a friend from Germany who has set up a web sight on Cruise Critic. He was able to take great shots of the JOS when she was floated out of her berth at Meyer Werft.

I know that we have been thru this before, but you really are a bit of a rascal teasing us all like this !!! I thought that the ship wasn't being handed over to RCCI until this friday, so how come you managed to sneak a sail on her already ??? We will all only forgive you if you confess all !!!

It is right that the ship will be delivered to her owners tomorrow. As for sneaking, I was invited to the transfer from Papenburg to Eemshaven. I brought Bart de Boer along and some of the photos he took before and during the conveyance can be seen on his web site http://PassengerShipParade.com

We are taking the Jewel for a Baltic cruise on May 16th. She does a couple of 2 nighters from Oslo, one 7 night from Harwich and then us. We made our meet and mingle party so we are all excited. Loves the pictures. Put the link on our meet and mingle board.

The JW actually does three short cruises from Hamburg, three from Oslo and two from Southampton, not counting the repositionings from Eemshaven to Hamburg and from Southampton to Harwich.
