Glad everything went well with the move yesterday. It's really neat watching the grandkids grow from being a baby to a little boy. I've delighted in each one of them!!!
"John and Angelia got their call from C&A, but we didn't." Does this mean they got an upgrade and you didn't? Sorry about that!!!
So is the jury deadlocked?

Hello All!!

YIKES .......those HIGH SEAS would have really made my HEAD SPIN for weeks on end!! Hope the rest of the trip works out for you. What a disappointment it must have been for all the people who were planning for months.....maybe years to see Bermuda and then have to miss it. Mother Nature at her best!!

SAN: Sounds like the MOVING/STORAGE thing is going well. Now tell me, just in case I missed it, where are they going to stay for the next few weeks??
Glad that little Joseph is a fun kid. Reminds me of our Eric. He's such a little ham. I don't think he'll ever make it past 1st grade when he starts going to school full time. He'll just be busy having too much FUN to take the time to study!!:D

I've been working outside for the past few hours. It's 86o and sunny and BEAUTIFUL here!

Kasey: I have to tell you girl. You're SMART for looking for a CONDO and downsizing. I thought of you everytime I had to bend down and pick up branches that I was cutting off some of the trees. And everytime I had to go back into the garage and get another broom or bag or something and go back and dig around the garden. And I don't even have to CUT THE LAWN like you do or clean that pool and deck etc, etc. Keep looking for the Condo........I can understand why now much better!! ::o

PQ: You all but ready for this Cruise?? How did things go with Gary being home for the whole weekend?? Hee Hee!!

PH: Hope you got my e-mail!! :daisy

SAN: I vote for going RIVER RAFTING ON THE COLORADO RIVER!!

GM: If you have any extra money left over from paying your bills, send it to me. I seem to be spending more than usual lately. I think it's because ART is home.

BB: Sent you a e-mail. Need more DETAILED information regarding that Shelby Car your neighbor had delivered!! Was it from California or Flat Rock, MI??? Is it a Mustang GT Shelby??? Nice to know it has the stripe!! Art might be driving down to take a look at it. He's big on Shelby's. (Just can't afford to buy one) :D

FD: Have a fun cruise on MOnday!! Hope your flight is on time.

Later all.......gotta get back outside and sweep up the sidewalk from all the twigs.

I hope you all appreciate the fact that it takes me FOREVER to get these screens to open with this broken down computer. I think it might be the hard drive.

Art is biking over at the park.

Re: Miscellaneous Plus [3445]

Good Sunday Evening all.

Been a busy weekend...
Saturday
Brandy had a nice play date with Max. The doggie patrol was monitoring the front gate to make sure all the dogs were legal. Max had to sneak across the border, as he forgot his passport (rabies tag) (:P)

Stopped at the dirt yard and picked up a couple of yards of pine bark to put around the new roses and azaleas. Worked in the yard, and cooked a prime rib roast for dinner. Tried to watch the Nascar race, but it wasn't on until 8:30, so didn't get to watch the end. I was suppose to start packing, but put it off:)

Sunday
Took Brandy for her walk and then went grocery shopping. Laid the rest of the pine bark down. Gary mowed the lawns and I started to pack...at least everything is in the spare room. Roasting cornish hens stuffed with wild rice for dinner. Waiting for Gary to open the bubbly, picked up some for the cruise...I always take my own wine and champagne because I'm picky. Like to have the champagne while we are dressing for the evening/dinner, and take a bottle of wine to dinner.

Wow, can't believe there is a re-vote on the choices. The cruise choices all sounded good, keep us posted on the outcome. It's been pretty exciting. I think we may do a cruise in December with the kids...looking into pricing on NCL, as they like the idea of anytime dining. I have to take the two weeks off at Christmas, and Gary will be able to take vacation by that time. In September, he won't be eligible for vacation pay, so he will take his time off uncompensated. Since he has a couple of weeks of vacation coming from Disney, we'll just put it away until then.

Well, better go check the hens. Why is it when Ruttie does a large post, I feel out of breathe just reading it, but my long post sounds so lazy =huh
