I also am new and having a big of trouble getting around. We are booked on Regal Princess for Alaska but leaving in September on the 3rd. I am curious about the San Francisco harbor; boarding there, parking etc. I am also a little more than curious about Regal Princess. I have been to Alaska on Sapphire Princess which was an extraordiary experience. We loved it so much we decided to go again but this time out of the Bay area - closer to home for us. I sure would appreciate hearing anything you know about the harbor, hotels etc. or the Regal Princess.

Well...we have never been to San Francisco before...so we are not much help. But we are so looking forward to the adventure. We will be in San Francisco for the 4th of July.

Hello, I am on the Regal Princess later this month. All I know of her is that she is the oldest ship in the Princess fleet. Launched in 1991 refurbished in 2001. She will be retired and sent tp P&O Australia in late 2007. From what I have seen of her it should be a nice experience. I am taking her throug the Panama Canal.
