The wife and I will on board as well after we booked last fall due to the great prcing that was available. We were on the old Westerdam in 2001 and are looking forward to sailing on the new Westerdam this December. We loved the Zuiderdam, so hopefully her sister will provide the same enjoyment.

The Zuiderdam is a beautiful ship. The staterooms were a bit smaller than the similar class staterooms on the "S" class, but the public rooms are nicer on the big "Z". I wish we were sailing again so soon, but we will have to wait for December.

We'll be on the westerdam 12/4, coming from Seattle on dec 2 . can't wait. Went on Zaandam last April LOVED IT. check out lordsheffield.com a tall ship type sailing excursion out of st. maarten. Nothing comparable on HA list of excursions. 3 hour sunset sail with food, beer champagne rum punch or soft drinks for 50$ each! about a 5 minute walk from cruise pier. Leaves at 5:00 and returns at 8:00 perfect for our time in port. We already made a reservation, and you don't have to leave a deposit! We got a vc balcony for a great price, we are guaranteed, the first time we've done that so it should be interesting. I wonder why the cabins are such a good price for this cruise? see you there Kalena and Denny

    LORD SHEFFIELD SUNSET CRUISE

booked and are looking for more people to go on lord sheffield tall ship sunset cruise in St. Maarten on dec 7. great reviews, much cheaper than cruiseline excursions, check out lordsheffield.com
Since the other cruise ships in town that day all leave by 4 or 5 there are plenty of openings but ship only holds 25 . food drinks and cruise 50$ each, 5 minute walk from cruise pier, easy to book through e-mail. I have done a LOT of checking and have yet to see anyone give it a bad review, even when the weather wasn't great people had a good time.
