Hi there --
We'll be cruising in Sept on the POA.. this will be the 1st time for us in Hawaii..hopefully more people post to your thread soon.. I am also starting to think we will be the only people on on ship ...hahaa-- we are trying to get as much information as possible ...Phyl

can you tell me a little more about your cruise? we are going in May 2011 and dont know what hotel to stay at , which pier the ship leaves from...nothing and help would be great

Pride of America normally docks at Pier 2 in Honolulu.

What are you looking for in a hotel and what's your budget? Hotels near the airport will be cheaper, those in the Waikiki area in Honolulu will be more expensive. Are you looking to be in the center of activity, or are you simply looking for a place to chill out after your flight the night before you sail?

Does anyone remember the names of the tour companies Pride of America used for their tours? I am specifically interested in helicopter tours, snorkeling and luaus.

We are sailing May 2014 .. yes, you read right. Wanted to do it up right for my 50th birthday.. and cross something off of the bucket list. My brother took this same ship/cruise in Sept 2011 and loved it. After hearing how cramped the regular staterooms are ... we've booked a family suite/penthouse. I can't wait !
