Dodies's Amazin Apple & Raisin Cake

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup Hellman's Mayonnaise
1/3 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
4 cups chopped apples
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Beat first 10 ingredients for 2 minutes.
Spoon stir in apples, raisins, and walnuts.
Grease 9 X 13 baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.


Three cake topping options:

Cream Cheese Frosting
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
6 oz. cream cheese
Add water until desired consistency

OR

Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip when served

OR

Sprinkle with powdered sugar

I bet that is an extremely moist cake with the mayo in it. I think I would do the whipped cream topping. Thnx for the recipe.
