      Sad news indeed. A couple of years ago Susan took me to Mt. Airy, NC, his hometown. We took the tour, had a sundae at the Bluebird Diner and I even got a haircut at Floyd's Barber Shop. That was a fun day.

      While he was always "Andy" to me, and I never cared for his later characters, I respected him as an actor and enjoyed his work. He'll really be missed.
