It's not raining right now but it's supposed to be some light rain today. The temperature will be as during Christmas (more or less)...

Did the final booking of flights to the BIG easy cruise yesterday, so I'm happy even if it rained all day!

Good Tuesday afternoon from North Queensland. Mostly cloudy and warm today, with a bit of light rain here and there.
One of our chooks has emerged from hiding in the bush; she brought 4 little fluffy chicks with her. So cute :) The other 2 hens stopped fighting over a nest on the verandah and are both sitting on eggs in the same box. This should be interesting if chicks hatch. The rooster, well, he might be headed for the crock pot.

Good Morning everyone! Our time to cruise is almost here. This time tomorrow, we'll be getting ready to go to the airport to go to Seattle! Our high temperature for yesterday was 103 degrees, so we're REALLY ready to enjoy the cooler temperatures up north. At the same time, we're keeping our friends in Colorado and other places out west in our thoughts and prayers as they deal with wildfires. Cheers, Duckies, we'll see you soon! QUACK

Oh, so that's what a chook is. Have they just set up residence or are they domestic? I always wanted chickens, but our property is too small to handle them. Imagine fresh eggs for breakfast! A nice cool morning here, patio door open, it feels great. Only supposed to be in the mid-80's today. We've been in the high 90's and by Friday we are supposed to be at 100. Maybe we'll have a cool down come July or August. LOL

Good morning cruise addicts. Yesterday was picture perfect & today is supposed to be a repeat but a few degrees warmer. Great sleeping weather with temps down to 49* this morning.
