Good morning maw and gang
Well I hope you have a wonderful day and outing this morning. I have a few things to do this morning getting ready for our trip on Mon. I am looking forward to it we have been wanting to take the wine train in napa ca for a long time so we are getting our wish. iT is going to be cool also am not taking shorts at all.
well need to get a few more things at the store am waiting till it gets a little warmer out before I go.

Good morning. It is a cool sunny typical fall morning here. Alf is still grinning about the new van! It is lovely to ride in. And I love the color better than the cranberry color of the old van. This one is silver.

Yesterday after I finished at the hair dressers, we came home for a minute and Alf dropped his bottom teeth and broke them, so we had to stop at the denturists on the way out of town. Then we went and got the new van. It rides lovely and another bonus is that the radio works all the way! Now we have to get a lift put in for my scooter and we are set.

While Alf was getting his teeth back, I twisted my knee so had to get the ice packs out!

Good morning, Maw and Ramblers. Happy Birthday to our birthday girl. Have a fun day out again, and hope Paw's leg is feeling better today.

Lisa - wonderful news about PizzaBoy.

Pucci and I will play hookey today as we spend the day out attending Anything Goes at the Arizona Broadway Theatre (lunch and show). And with the nautical theme, they're auctioning off two Mexican Riviera cruises at the end of the show's run in mid-November.

Good Morning Maw and Ramblers all....and a very special Happy Birthday Maw!

It's a cold and rainy day here today...as it was yesterday. We were out to our neighbours for dinner last night. Lasagna, salad and Baked Apples for dessert was just a perfect meal for a fall evening...though it seemed more like late, late, late fall than early days of autumn!

After dinner our friends shared their photos of the recent cruise the took to the Arctic. They sailed with a company called Adventure Canada and had a spectacular 12 day trip. ( www.adventurecanada.com ) They report a spotless and well run ship, excellent food, incredible scenery, wonderful onboard lecturers (including Bob McDonald from CBC's Quirks and Quarks....Canadians will know :D ) good wildlife viewing and interesting interaction with the local people of the Canadian North as well as Greenland. Their photographs were what you might expect to see in a National Geographic Magazine article about the undiscovered North....incredible sunsets, icebergs, barren land, cliffs of nesting birds, muskox, whale, polar bear and of course the people! If you are interested in Adventure travel this might be just the cruise for you! If you open and watch the video in the attatched link you will see just some of what my friends experienced. The man in the red jacket with the beard singing the praises of this trip is our neighbour....and no, he is not affiliated with the company :) It was a delightful evening!

And now it must be back to reality and the cloud and rain. The cupboards are bare (and the 'fridge is too) so I had better get me down to the grocery store and fix that. Also need to vacuum and dust....moved the living room furniture into "winter placement" yesterday and kicked up a pile of dust :D (that's my excuse anyway)!
