Good morning all!! Grab a hot cuppa and come on by and chat. Have my load of wash swishing and things from back bed put away-will be a lot more to follow not sure when I washed last this week. Looks like Paw has a nice day to work in yard today. Weather report for Thanksgiving is col cold. Deer hunting season here and I heard several gun shots early. Probably the 4 little beauties that have been handing around this area.Billy 2 has always put his butchering skills to work for his friends and family but his back won't let him do it. He had looked forward to a share of meat for this job too. I have to say I do like deer meat made up into ground and used for chili.

Hope KK got off for her Thanksgiving cruise alright. Red imagine you are scurrying around trying to get yours and E chores done before cruise--you will both need the cruise to relax. Hope you all can relax and have a fun cruise.
Jan I hope you lungs are sounding better so they can get your surgery scheduled we want you well to cruise.
Donna know you will have a busy busy going week end. Just enjoy it to the fullest. Niecie is thanksgiving at your house or one of girls? Tango you have fun getting ready for your cruise too. Whimsey just hope the remodeling goes well and is done soon. Corky will anxiously await to hear abt todays craft show. Tobyn an exciting time for Megan really moving away from home. Hop[e she really loves the new job is it with Princess?

Good Morning Maw & @ddict friends,
Maw we have the same thing here for Thanksgiving, Col, Cold & more Cole, Yuck. Well it could be worse, we could get more of the white stuff. They say we are headed into the deep freeze this coming week. The temp this morning when I got up was 19 with a windchill of 13, but the sun is out for the 1st time in days. so that will help.
Maw I think the lungs are a little better, I have an appointment with the lung dr. on Weds we will see what he thinks. I had hoped to have all this surgery & stuff thaken care of by now, so that I would feel better before the holidays. The little one just fot up so better go fix his waffle, his papa is home but still sleeping.

Sorry to hear Billy 2 isn't up to doing that butchering anymore, I can imagine he will miss the meat. We've got some laundry churning here this morning too.

Jan, I sure hope you get a good report on Wednesday...time for you to get better!

I am not hosting Thanksgiving....both Jacquie and Mindy are having dinner at their homes. We will go to Jacquie's for dinner and Mindy's for dessert. I am making green bean casserole for both off them to serve...will drop off Mindy's portion on the way to Jacquie's. I am disappointed that we all aren't together but there was a mix up in planning and Jacquie had invited a lot of friends...and Mindy needed to have her in-laws as usual as her FIL is recently widowed.

No plans for me today though Leatherneck and the kids/grands are going to IMAX to see Harry Potter. I may go shopping.

Cool and gray here right now - but it is late November.

Going to get a Sweedish Massage this afternoon - sure looking forward to that - - a new place opened and ran a sale - and I jumped on it!

Nieciez - sure wish we were closer to shop and get that massage together!

Maw - I got laundry going too! On my second load and have a couple more to go - but we are staying home tonight - so I have all night to get it done.

Jan - sure hope you are feeling better.

Got steaks for dinner for Jim and I - mil will have baked fish as she doesn't want steak. Might pick up a couple movies -

Good morning. I have the laundry sorted & the sheets churning on this cold cloudy morning. We are still having puter problems but they will get sorted out soon. I looked at the newspaper to check the weather & it says sunny but so far it is cloudy here.

Not much planned for here this weekend. The house is tidy, the washing is being worked on so I guess I will work on the cards. Sounds like a good plan for a cold morning.

Morning Maw and everyone.

Raining here in So Cal. Can't complain as we need it. Yoga class this morning and then try to finish putting everything away from vacation. Need to do laundry too. Still on vacation so not moving too fast.

Thanksgiving is at my brother's house so I only had to bring a few things on the list. It is so nice he has a girlfriend that likes to have us all over. I will do Christmas at our house.

Good morning.

My spirits are low here. Seems like we are not getting anywhere despite how much work we do. I'm tired, sore from painting, frustrated, tired of returning things, buying things....the list goes on and on. I'm not a lot of fun right now.

Hope everyone has a better day than me. I'll get over it, just have to have a downer day every once in a while. Today is that day.

Good morning fellow @ddicts! ! ! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. I put a load of laundry in even before I fixed my first cuppa . . . . . Have a few loads to do after being away.

Maw, Megs is taking a job at the 'big' hospital in Anchorage as a patient services rep in the pediatric depatment. She is excited about it and really looking forward to her next adventure. I will be driving the u-haul truck down to Anchorage on Thursday, so our Thanksgiving will be tomorrow.

When it gets light out, I will be out shoveling the driveway again. It seems we got another couple of inches of snow overnight. . . . .GREAT! NOT! ! ! !

good morning maw and gang

IT is a wet one here this morning but it is not cold or windy out as yet the dog didn't seem to mind the rain I had on my Alaska coat and I was nice and warm feet were wet tomorrow I will wear another pair.
I have put on a pot of stew and let it cook all day a nice wet weather dinner.
I also have as load in the washer with just two people wash seems to be endless all the time.
Had a nice day yesterday went to lunch with friend and we walked around the mall looking at all the new ships.
Kohl's is having a nice sale I need to order some stuff for SOPHIA everything in her size is $4.99. not that she needs anything but grandma loves buying for her girl
Just going to relax and watch TV and I have a movie also to watch.
Jan hope you get a good report and can get surg over with so you will be able to cruise,.

Good morning Maw and ramble gang..
Oh yes maw.. I am scurrying .

I worked on the next day of the radiance cruise all yesterday evening, and I have been working on it since 8 this morning. I have JUST finished it and am awaiting Einsteins OK on it before posting it.

Then I am packing up and moving far far away.


Einstein is at work, so I had ironed and folded his shirts, and piled clothes that I thought he would want on a spare bed.. shorts in one tees in another and so on. Last night he came home and it made it easy for him to look through them and put to one side the things he did not want.

Today I will pack it in the suitcase for him. That way he should only have his toiletries to do.
I have not packed one thing for me yet. But I still have tomorrow to do that if I do not get time today.

At 6.10 this morning I had the wash going, I stripped the bed and remade it, started the vacuum, washed the bath mats etc. then at 7.45 I had the little dog at the groomers for her bath and clip.

OH my.. how I wish that I had my camera with me..
Some poor cat was getting cut and styled!

Imagine a cat with a poodle cut.. and that was it.
The poor little beast looked so embarrassed.. and I would too with a cut like that.

And the cat was so used to this that it just stood there and allowed the lady to shave off all the main body fur and leave those little pom poms on it’s legs and tail.

Jan, you are a sweet thing, I do not think that you ever forget. Einstein was so pleased. Thank you very much.

Denise, sorry the plans were mixed up, but it sounds like an interesting alternate plan that you have all put together.

Donna, enjoy the massage. Right now it sounds good to me.

Liz, would you like to do my cards too?

I do hope that you do not have to use that shovel any time soon.
