Good morning all. come join me in a tall cool drink this morning and some chat. Tried to get most of chores done before it got to hot looking at 100's again. Paw has run to Bolivar to get car serviced and for his haircut. I had no wish to get out in heat. He will bring something from deli for lunch. I am perfectly happy with some cold salads and cold cuts during this heat. Have had some delicious vine ripped tomatos out of Arkansas.

Corky that antipasto you took for Saturday night sounded so good.

Dug out the picture album from our trip to Europe and relived many happy memories yesterday. Found some other albums will have to give some time to later this week.

Gads a lady runner just went by-would be too hot just walking.

billy 2 is on his way to KC to VA for his regular check up.

Good morning Maw - just got to work so checking in. A bit drizzly on drive in, let's hope it doesn't get heavy. I want summer!! Don't want the high temps some of you folks have, just nice summer weather for more than a day or 2!

Not much new, busy at work as my co-worker is away so I'm all by myself up front - works for me as the day flew by yesterday! Let's hope the rest of the week goes as quickly!

Good Morning Maw & @ddict friends
Its real nice here this morning only about 64 or so but they say mother nature is going to be turning up the heat & humidity. The last 2 days have been almost perfect upper 70's with no humidity.
Maw good choice staying in & staying cool. That deli lucch sounds good to me. I dont seem to eat as much when its hot. Drink alot more liquids though.
No plans for the day here.

Good Morning Maw and Ramblers

Yesterday and today the temps are so nice being in the low 80's and and a nice breeze. However, as of tomorrow the heat wave returns for the next few days.

Maw, I'm the same way, if the weather is hot we don't care for heavy meals. I have some left over chicken, perhaps a chicken salad and fruit for lunch. Tonight we're going out for a bite to eat either for pizza or Mexican.

Jan, How are you feeling? Has the meds helped?

KK, have fun on your cruise. Hope you are feeling better.

Good morning Maw and Ramblers. Like Jan we are having some beautiful weather right now in the Metro DC but the heat and humidity will be back by week's end.

Maw, I discovered that message that you mentioned that Brenda sent me. LOL I just have to remember to check my text message inbox every now and again LOL. I will show Leatherneck the picture tonight....so glad that Billy liked the flag. Hope he gets a good check up today!

Just made an appointment for Georgie and Louie for their yearly check-up and testing/shots. Will do that on Friday as it is my "Friday Off".

Tonight is Tuesday so that means Chris and the boys will be over for dinner...going to have Italian sweet sausage with peppers & onions over spaghetti.

Not much else to report. Hope everyone enjoys their day and if it is hot, stay cool, if you are in FL stay dry and safe and for CO folks hope those fires say away from you and your's.

Good Morning Gang!

Another nice day here today - 73 degrees right now and the high is supposed to be 75. Getting hotter as the week goes on with 90 on Friday and Saturday - sounds like some pool time on Saturday! We are lucky to have friends with an inground pool that we can use anytime!

Nothing new here - keeping in touch with my mom and "Debby" storm - they are getting tons of rain in Pensacola and the kids have gotten 25 inches of rain. They are ready for some sunshine.

Jim is staining our deck today - maybe we will get our patio furniture out this weekend! I mean summer if already 1/2 over! lol

Well, gotta run - take care and be careful! Hugs and prayers to all in need. Safe travels to those lucky enough to be heading out!

Well this is the last sleep night it is off to Seattle in the morning I need to lay our all dh clothes he likes to pack his own suitcase (what ever) I packed mine yesterday and I am ready .
Having new A/C and heating unit put in today. I need to go to the bank and to get a few things in a little while when it opens at 9am. Not going to cook dinner tonight so my vacation starts tonight.
I will be checking in from time to time we won't be getting on the ship till Fri. Have busy day planned for us Thur lunch at space neddle and then we are going to underground tour.

Good morning. It is a cloudy morning here but no rain - yet.

I didn't sleep all that well last night. You would think that an hour at the Y would help but on the days that I go there I never seem to have a restful sleep. I have the dust bunnies cleared up & have a bit of shedding to do & then that is finished.

Nieciez I also liked the picture you posted yesterday of your family. Lots of memories.

I will be leaving the house tidy! All I have left to do is finish the shredding & then cleanup that mess. Then I am ready to pack.

Good morning! DH and I finished our packing last night (other than toiletries, meds, paperwork, which will be done tonight). We just need to gather PizzaBoy's outfits, yet much of that is done and just needs to be packed. We split all of our stuff between two suitcases so that if one gets lost or is delayed, we will have enough to wear in the other one. That also means coordinating outfits while packing, but I don't mind.

At the last minute, I decided to take a black gown for the first formal night. DH and PB will be in suits, yet this dress is soooooo comfortable and takes up very little room in the garment bag.

I forgot to tell you all -- we spent this past weekend in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. We saw the Happy Together concert, featuring Flo & Eddie of The Turtles, Micky Dolenz, Gary Puckett, and a few others. It was fabulous. We also saw sand sculptures on the beach. So cool. I doubt they survived the downpours we had all day yesterday, though.

Back to the grind. Wishing all a super day...thoughts and prayers to all in need.
