    Re: Sunday Open House

Janice - Pucci is excited to see so many friends arrive at once! He has brought Ginger, Max, Sadie, Chicku, Dixie and Zazu over to Maw and Charles for scritches, cuddles and head pats (quite a menagerie!!!), and we thank you and them for bringing so many snacks for everybody. No one will go hungry today amongst the camaraderie! Would you care for something to drink? Please sit back, relax and I'll bring it to you.

Charles - always a delight to have you join us. The furbabies are going back and forth between you and Maw for scritches, and your little buddy Pucci is leading the pack! :) Here is your Pina Colada - try to sit and relax between furbaby visits!

Hello everyone. Mary Ann and Pucci, once again you have selected just the perfect place. All three furbabies are delighted to see their friends again and hoping Maw and Charles have a spare scritch or two. May I please have a Pina Colada as well?

Bev - Pucci is so happy to see all three furbabies. He has escorted them to Maw and Charles for scritches, and now has brought them their bowls of water and treats. For you, a refreshing Pina Colada. Enjoy with your friends.

Mudslide ..... The way my day is going here at wurk, I need a mudslide BAD!

I know what it is .... Globug sent me all her nut-cases! The ED is full, and over 50% are either ETOH (extremely tanked or hammered) or MHE (mental health evaluations) .....

Pretty trees. Looks like a perfect spot for an iced tea. I will be right over, and I'm sure Frasier will follow.

Michael - I'm glad you like this spot. I must keep reminding myself that you're now an hour earlier than we. Mimosa coming right up - please sit back and enjoy!

Calgon - it does indeed sound like Glo unleashed some of her more interesting cases on you. How about a tall, double-strength Mudslide? BTW, Pucci has ice ready for Cody should he decide to join us again today.

Lisa - Pucci is so happy to see Frasier following you. He has escorted his friend over to Maw and Charles for scritches, and has found him a lovely spot in which to curl up and relax. Frasier has been served a bowl of water and catnip. For you, a tall glass of iced tea - there are plenty of lounge chairs under a swaying palm tree. Please enjoy!

When I used to live in Phoenix I would jokingly say we never changed our clocks because the retirees in Sun City didn't know how to re set the clocks on their VCR's.
(I know ) But years ago when I worked for Cox I went to a house out there and the people had a piece of black tape over the clock on the VCR because they couldn't make it stop flashing. :)

I believe it, Michael. I had very elderly friends here who were like second parents...and I would look after them in some things as best I could. I noticed some overhead fluorescents were out as well as a couple of bulbs in lamps. I changed the fluorescents, much to their amazement, and had bulbs in hand for the lamps. He asked (seriously) what they were for.
