Table rattling generates 911 call
I've heard of saber rattling, but table rattling?
Teacher rattles table in class, student calls 911 - Yahoo! News
I think the student went a little too far in this case.

All I can say is it appears to be getting harder & harder to be a teacher these days. Don't put a bumper sticker on your car, don't complain to anyone about whiney students, don't let your picture be taken after school hours with a drink in your hand & now don't rattle a table in the classroom.

Yes it is getting harder, if you discilplin in constructive manner you still get into trouble
