    Maw Sat Report 3/26

Well I have made it back home. Bill 2 and I went to see Maw this morning before I left, she was pleased to see him. She had been up this morning and they had just put her back in bed with meds so she was feeling a little better. Said that Jan had called and she was glad to hear from her even though she thinks she may have drifted off to sleep. She is still kind of sleepy at times but I feel she was better when I left today than she was on Thursday when I got there. She really hasn't complained about pain, she would have me shift her leg around a little for comfort at times(take a pillow out or add one). Her appetite hasn't been the greatest, but she does try to eat something at each meal. One of her favorites when feeling poorly is a chocolate milk shake, took that to her yesterday afternoon and after a couple of drinks, she said it didn't taste right. She does have an appointment Tuesday for followup with surgeon, so hope his report will be good.
Paw took the day off today also, but had talked to her on the phone this morning. I checked in with him when I got home, said he had rested all day and taken a couple of naps. So he is ready to go visit tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good week!!

Thanks for reporting in Daw. Glad that you were able to see improvement in your Mom's condition. And nice that Paw got the chance to rest. Do they get Maw doing therapy on the weekend? Good luck to you all.

Thanks for the update on Maw (and Paw)...I'm always looking for news! I'm guessing the drugs and the anestheic Maw was under have affected her taste...hope that comes back soon. Also glad to hear that you arrived safely home!

Thnks for the update Brenda, glad you made it home safe & sound.
Maw must have been mixed up a little, I didn't call her she called me about 10:30am. She said sorry if I fall asleep on you. She also said the food tasted horrible & beore surgery she thought it was pretty good.
I'am glad Billy 2 went to see her with you, I know that made her day. Glad to hear that Paw got some rest.
