Skyscraper Always Rises Above the Rest!!!
I think that's an excellent idea. It should speed up the counting process....I did alway wonder how on earth they could be sure everyone was in attendance after they stopped the roll calls.
As for the person who was thrown off for not attending, I have to think there was a little more to the incident than that he just didn't show up. I tend to believe that he was some how either disruptive about it; or belligerently refused, when they found him and told him that he had to join everyone else at the muster.
I kind of think alcohol was likely involved too. It usually is, when someone is behaving like an idiot.
I'm curious. We haven't cruised since the Costa incident, and I'm wondering if that has caused any reversal of the newer policy of not needing to take your life jacket to muster? How has it been for you more recent cruisers?
Phew..I though that an @ddict had gotten kicked off a ship. But this was about A Cruiser not The Cruiser
We are all here...cause we are not all there.
Next Cruise: MAY 21 PAC NorthWest er..SouthWest
Last cruise: NOV 2012 Hawaii
We have done several back-to-back cruises on HAL. There was a time when we were excused from attending the second lifeboat drill.
Not any more -- on our February cruise -- we had to attend both lifeboat drills.
Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement.
Gayle, we cruised on Celebrity Eclipse in April & did not have to take our life jackets to the drill. We watched a short film showing what to do in an emergency & that was it.
