Pre Cruise hotel in Puerto Rico?

Hello,
I would love to hear your recommendations for a pre cruise hotel in San Juan. The Sheraton is sold out for the dates I need I am looking for something close to the port. Appreciate it!

not sure about the airport a friend once stayed at Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza it was real nice and about 10 mins from
ship. ( won some money at the casino also)

It's been a few years, but the two times we stayed in San Juan we stayed at the Wyndham El San Juan, and at the Caribe Hilton. Can't say how they are now, but we loved both. The El San Juan has a much bigger beach and a Casino, so given a choice, I'd probably stay there again. They are both on the way between SJU and the port, but closer to the airport.
