    SeaTac to Vancouver

Question for those of you who have used the bus service from Seattle to VC....if we arrive on Southwest at 2:30 p.m. do we have time to make the 3:30 bus to VC or should I book the 5:30?

The question that needs to be answered first is...will your plane be on time and your luggage out.. If that's a yes then there will be time. Not helpful eh! sorry

Better to plan on the later bus. With a 4 1/2 hour bus run, you'll be getting in to the hotel late anyway, so better to be safe than sorry. Plus, a little extra time before your bus trip gives you a chance to grab some snacks for the ride. That's a long ride without food, especially after a cross country flight with no real meal service.

I knew the 3:30 would be cutting it close. Calgon good thought on the food and stretch the legs angle! Later it will be!

    Definitely the later bus.

Sometimes it took us awhile to get out luggage in SeaTac.

We always pack snack crackers in our carry-ons -- just in case.

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement.

It also can be a hike to get through seatac so later is better.

I agree on the later bus. BTW, if applicable, Quick Shuttle offers senior rates.

Sounds like a long hard travel day but the outcome will be well worth it...

Not necessarily a long, hard drive, but the experts in the group should know that anyway. You want a non-stop into Vancouver (if available), then there are several stops once you get there. The "unknown" is how long it will take to cross the border. Sometimes, the authorities will merely board the bus, check passports and wave you on, other times you and your luggage must get off and go through a complete inspection. You might be the only bus, there might be buses ahead of you. You never know. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best at the crossing.

The scenery between SEA-TAC and Vancouver is very pretty.

Denise..it may be less complicated for you guys to just get on the bus at the airport and go
.....but the Best ride from Seattle to Vancouver is on the Train. :) The PM train can be boarded south of Seattle not all that far from the Airport at Tukwila at 5:52 and arrives Vancouver 1050 PM or in Seattle at main station at 6:50 PM. It's the same train. Bags would stay with you at Tukwila as no service at that small station. Baggage service at main station.
