Super Bowl Sunday!# There’s nothing quite like a big game on a giant screen while sailing for fun and memories.# It’s a popular time to sail and cruise lines sailing today and next year, have exciting events planned.
We hope guests sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line today for Super Bowl Sunday remembered to pack their jerseys and team paraphernalia because they are invited to join in on the excitement of the big game at the world’s largest Super Bowl party at sea.# Norwegian says they have a good time in store for passengers.
“On board, Super Bowl Sunday guests can transition from a relaxing day at the pool to a high energy celebration to watch the New England Patriots and New York Giants battle it as parties erupt in multiple venues on every ship in the Norwegian fleet.# Guests can watch the game on the two-story big screens on Norwegian Pearl, Gem, Jewel and Epic while enjoying a signature cocktail. Guests will also enjoy snacking on game time favorites such as tortilla chips with cheese and salsa, popcorn, hot dogs and chicken wings in the line’s pubs, bars and lounges including O’Sheehan’s Bar & Grill on Norwegian Epic; Longboard on Norwegian Sky, Red Lion on Norwegian Dawn , and Henry’s Pub on Norwegian Spirit.
At Sea.# Don’t have to drive.# People bring drinks all the time.# A recipe for disaster throwing in the rabid Super Bowl experience?## Maybe.# But even if intoxicated out-of-control passengers don’t fall off the ship, they may do well to review the passenger contract on this matter.## Note the highlighted sections below.
Norwegian Cruise Line guests are expected to be responsible for their actions at all times, including during transfers to and from ships, inside terminals, while onboard, at our ports of call, during shore excursions and at our private destinations. Consuming alcohol to excess impairs one’s judgment and reduces one’s ability to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations. Guests who choose to consume alcohol must do so responsibly. The ship’s staff may refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any guest who does not consume alcohol responsibly. Ship’s personnel may request verification of a guest’s age to verify they are of age to consume alcohol pursuant to this policy. Any guest that violates this alcohol policy, will be considered for disciplinary action pursuant to the “Consequences Section” of this Guest Conduct Policy, and may lose their privileges to use the disco or other areas or facilities of the ship or maybe required to disembark the vessel.
That “required to disembark the vessel” part can take a fun time at the big game to a lousy time ashore, left to fend for themselves to get back home.
