Hotels already sold out?

Looking for hotels in New Orleans for period of February 27th to March 2nd.
Been using sites like ebookers.fi and hotels.com, for many hotels I get the message there are no rooms for these days. Wonder, can the hotel already be fully booked or have they not open the bookings yet.

Hi Christoffer. I asked about this and in some cases they don't open for bookings until 220 days out - so hopefully that's the case and they are not really sold out!!

Let's hope so.
Right now there would be few hotels that looks nice, both for my wallet and location.
But really hope that there will be rooms available for hotels that right now can't offer me a room.
Have just to wait.
Think I will get the flight tickets tomorrow.

I was looking at b & b hotels and ran into the same thing. I emailed one of them and they said they don't take reservations until about 6 months out.

I think as mentioned its a bit far out yet for some of the sites. Went into the Hilton site directly and found LOTS of suitable choices. Here is the Link for anyone interested.

Like others I believe we are doing the B & B search as well when they open up. from the Hilton list U can NOT go wrong with The Roosevelt, Hilton New Orleans Riverside, or Embassy Suites. On the lower $$ side the Hampton Inns are VERY suitable as well.

Right now I think it will be Hilton Riverside or Sheraton on the Canal Street.
Been reading pros and cons of both.

BOTH would be GOOD choices Christoffer and I might side a bit more with the Hilton Riverside.

Now I found rooms on hotels.com for Hilton.
Might book it later today.

Well now I have everything done for the next years cruise.
Did get the hotel yesterday (Friday).
We do stay at Hilton Riverside between February 27th and March 2nd.
Nice to have everything done already now this early.
