Just booked a 6 day cruise on the Breeze for March 24, 2013...looking forward to going on this large ship!
This will be my 9th Carnival cruise. I'd like to sneak in a 3 day before the Breeze cruise so I will be a VIP when boarding the Breeze. We'll see.....
Has anyone been on her sister ships the Dream or Magic?

Posted on John Heald's Web about the Breeze
Lets run through some Carnival Breeze news shall we.
Yesterday I made a mistake. It’s the forward dining room that is called the Sapphire and the Aft Dining Room that is called the
Blush Dining Room……………although based on your comments yesterday we will be changing the name dining room to restaurant.
... The Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse will have extra seating at the bar counter where the full $30 menu will be served. This follows the trend in many odf the top steak houses in New York, Chicago and Miami etc. We are taking bookings through the blog and should you want bar counter service please add in the reservation so the hostess knows.
The dance club is called Liquid. This will be our “hottest” nightclub yet and will feature sensational décor and for the first time a VIP room where we are considering offering full bottle service. And we have two open sided cages where our dancers will at scheduled times be dancing in. Very South Beach. And of course the music will be provided by our 2 DJ’s both of whom have been through the DJ Irie training school, part of our Funship 2.0 Upgrades and they will be spinning the latest music such as Pee Diddley, Wham and ummmm…..ummmm………..other stuff. It’s going to look fantastic and I am sure be a huge hit.
The Hotel Director and I are talking about keeping Guy’s Burger joint open until 9pm every night. We both think this is very important and will be a popular decision.
We have moved the deli from the back of deck 10 as it is on Carnival Magic to the inside of the Lido to where we serve the Borritos from on Carnival Magic and Carnival Dream. The Burrito bar is replaced of course by the BlueIguana Cantina which will serve complimentary tacos etc which having tried them on Carnival Liberty I know to be brilliant. So, here is the lido Market Place rundown.
Deck 10 aft - next to aft pool area - Tandoor on the starboard side and the Pizzaria on the port side
Deck 10 aft – inside the Market Place – Desert Station. The Deli. The Grand Buffett.
Deck 10 Midship – The Mongolian Wok. Salad Bar. Taste of the Nations.
Deck 10 Forward – Guy’s Burger Joint. BlueIguana Cantina.
The RedFrog Rum Bar is on Deck 10 starboard side and the BlueIguana Tequila Bar is on Deck 10 port side.
Smoking areas – the following areas will be designated as smoking areas on the Carnival Breeze:
Selected area of the Casino tables and machines – away from the Promenade center walk through of the guests.
Part of the Casino bar – the tables in front of the casino bar remain as on Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic …..smoke free
The port side of the Lanai on deck 5 where we have added extra tables with shade provided by large umbrellas.
The Liquid Nightclub
The bar area of the BlueIguna Tequila Bar on Lido Deck 10
Balconies – excluding all spa cabin balconies where smoking is strictly not allowed.
The Taste Bar at the Ocean Plaza will serve nightly complimentary treats before dinner.
There will be a special design feature in the Piano Bar that for now remains a surprise but will be a brilliant feature.
The Sky Course and Sports Square is in place and looking great.
And one difference to other Dream class ships that I really love is that from the casino onwards there is a specific walkway that guests follow. This means there is a railing running down the center of Promenade that has entrances to the Ocean Plaza, the Bonsai Sushi Bar, the Café, the RedFrog Pub and the Liquid Nightclub. I have not described that very well but video of what I mean will be with you soon and it looks superb and gives the Promenade a tremendously fresh feel to it.
There is much more to tell you but for now that’s it. She looks brilliant and will without a doubt be our best ship ever…………….so I have to ask you…..have you booked yet?Donna - dsw
