    Re: Cruising out of Norfolk?

WE HAD A SUITE RESERVED for that cruise, also....but cancelled when I investigated the horrible air choices. No cruise was worth putting up with 40 seater puddle jumpers which we would have had to do in order to have a non-stop. So.....cancelled and booked Rotterdam for Panama Canal....again :)

    Re: Cruising out of Norfolk?

It's all about choices, ladies. :grin I thought I had DH convinced that Maasdam is our anniversary cruise. Tonight he asked the all-important question..."where is 'our' Rotterdam going to be on our anniversary"...a quick check of HAL's website showed the Rotterdam doing a S. Carib./partial canal itinerary. He looked at itineraries...said "been there, done that, got a bunch of t-shirts and caps" to the Maasdam itinerary. Said, "love Curacao and Aruba, loved our full canal transit 2 years ago, love the Rotterdam, gotta get back on that ship...book the Rotterdam." Oh phooey, I real-l-l-l-l-l-lyyyy want the Maasdam. Well, the good news is that I'll book another cruise, with my DH on our all-time favorite ship. Bad news is that it isn't going to be on the Maasdam. Maybe someday DH will venture forth and try new ships...

3/23/04 out of FLL. Cabin 7032. Just waiting for confirmation from our TA. If you're on that cruise, Sail, let's not let our hubbies get together...all that "legalese" talk will drive me crazy!!! :lol

Maybe another time, Sail. I'm just glad we'll be back on the Rotterdam again. I feel about the Rotterdam the same as you do the Maasdam.
