Glory Be, Got my Cabin Assignment!
Sailing in 14 days on the Westerdam and finally got our cabin assignment today. We had booked an SS guarantee and it was a very safe bet that we would get a good location (dunno if there are any bad locations for this category, lol); midship starboard side sure looks good to me.

We had a SS on Westerdam about 14 months ago and loved it, really nice large suite with huge bathroom ( much nicer and larger than Princess mini-suites), Have a great cruise.

Congrats !! First time On the Westerdam we also had a SS suite, Nice having 2 sinks in the washroom . Good size Balcony lots of room!!! have fun!!

Back from the Westerdam and I can now report that my cabin (8053) was directly under the pool deck ping pong tables. If you are a light sleeper, or retire early, do not book one of these cabins. Next time I will book an SY!

That is why we book a specific cabin.
Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement.
