first time cruise ever!

Just booked an Alaskan cruise via Norwegian Pearl. we leave the end of July and I booked the Penthouse! we are flying to Seattle from DC and I was wondering what kind of clothes to pack, how much time to spend in Seattle (should we go to Vancouver for a day?) and exactly what a "must is" on our first day to sea. Thanks! anyone else booked on this cruise?

Have not done Alaska so I cannot help you much there. My advise GET INVOLVED.

BTW Cruising is a virus that can only be cured with more and more cruising, and you my friend are about to be infected.
