Trip to Greece, Turkey, Egypt, April 2010

We have reservations on RC leaving April 24 from Rome. Anyone been to the ports in Greece, Turkey, Egypt that have suggestions on reputable tour companies for the ports? What was your experience? We are new to the forum but experienced cruisers. We would welcome your input.

I just returned from a visit to Turkey and can highly recommend Byzas Tours for guided tours in Ephesus and Istanbul. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable, personable, fun to work with, charming and delightful and full of interesting and educational information about the history, culture, customs and society in Turkey. On our trip we travelled to numerous countries and worked with several guides - some booked through our ship, some found on the internet and some hired on shore when we arrived. Of all of these companies, Byzas provided us with the best service and most memorable experience. Visiting the cities, sites and ruins is amazing regardless but the experience was greatly enhanced by the wonderful tour guide we worked with. I hope you have a lovely trip!
