Last week while I was cooking dinner, I got distracted and severely burnt the sauce pan and the food in it. I had burnt green beans stuck to the pan that left black marks inside and outside. I thought Rick was going to kill me., you see, loving to cook, he is very protective of the cookware. Needless to say, I assured him that I would get the pan to look like new. Personally, I thought the pan was a goner. After several different cleaning attempts failed I hit the internet HOW TO search. I came across this method, it is so simple, and it is hard to believe that is works
All that you need to is get is a can of cola (preferably something like Coke or Pepsi). When you have that in hand, take your burnt pan to the stove and pour the cola into it. Now you turn on the heat for that burner, and simply bring the cola to a boil. You might want to try stirring the cola every once in a while as it is coming to a boil, you don't have to necessarily, but it seems to help a little. Once you have reached a boil, remove the saucepan from the heat and "wash" out the cola using hot water. The food should rinse away with no problems, but feel free to repeat as often as necessary
I was at a point that I would try any thing. Well let me tell you within in seconds the pan is like new. Who knew Coke could do such an amazing thing.
