The 130,000-ton, 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze, the third ship in Carnival's Dream class.

Much of what's found onboard Carnival Dream and Carnival Magic will be on Carnival Breeze, including the adults-only Serenity area; Seaside Theatre; "Cloud 9" spa; WaterWorks aqua park with a 303-foot-long, corkscrew waterslide; and family cabins designed to accommodate five passengers. It'll also have the smattering of offerings introduced on Magic, from the SportSquare outdoor fitness and adventure area to the RedFrog Pub, a Caribbean-style bar serving Carnival's private label, Thirsty Frog Red, on tap.

But big design and amenity changes are also afoot for Breeze. Carnival has dispensed with Joe Farcus, its wildly imaginative, wildly divisive lead designer for the last three decades. This time, Hamburg-based firm Partner Ship Design is leading the way with a toned-down vibe and tropical theme throughout. Amenity-wise, the ship will feature a slew of new attractions offering burgers, burritos, booze and George Lopez. The changes come by way of the line's $500 million FunShip 2.0 initiative, a program that also calls for the retrofitting of older ships with the new stuff. Some of the Fun Ship 2.0 spaces that will be found on Breeze include:

Guy's Burger Joint, which is being overseen by Guy Fieri, will highlight the merging of big slabs of beef, cheese, toppings and bun. Hand-cut fries are on the menu, too. The venue will be free of charge.

The EA SPORTS Bar will feature lots of beer, big screens to watch the Big Game and, of course, video games. Check out the EA SPORTS Bar drink menu.

The Caribbean-themed RedFrog Rum Bar will sit on the edge of the pool deck. Check out the RedFrog Rum Bar drink menu. The Mexican-themed BlueIguana Tequila Bar will be situated across from the rum joint. Check out the BlueIguana Tequila Bar menu. The BlueIguana will have a separate dining component, the BlueIguana Cantina, a free eatery that will serve burritos and tacos on ship-made tortillas.
