Mon ramble

Good morning gang. Can't believe it is already Monday. Seems there just aren't enough hours in the day & days in the week to get everything on my own "to do" list done. Didn't get to anything that I planned to this weekend as I'm called to help DD at her house & then Mike has all this outdoor stuff that he gets started on but due to his limitations I get drug into it & nothing gets done in the house. So here I am starting my week as tired as I ended it last Fri. Did not sleep well at all last night; think I was so frustrated at not getting anything accomplished around here.

DS#2 leaves for Poland this Sat for work so I will be checking on his house & getting the mail while he is gone for 2 weeks. He also has a feral cat that he has been feeding for a couple of years now so guess I'll be setting food out for that poor creature. It showed up one day & had been in a horrible fight with his face all torn up. DS felt sorry for it & set some food & water out. Poor thing has been showing up ever since. Is waiting in his driveway every night when DS gets home from work; he has his food then takes off.

Temps in the low 30s but the sun is out & temps are headed to the mid 60s. Supposed to get warmer each day & no rain so looks like a good weather week for us.

Sure wish I had a cruise booked to look forward but that is not going to happen anytime soon. At this point I could use a simple weekend away to re-charge my batteries but that is not going to happen either.

Good Morning Kathy & @ddict friends
About 42 when I got up this morning with bright sun. Yesterday we had a high of 63 & they say 68 today. Its going to be warming up all week.
Went to Brians yesterday. He made me some lamb chops & chicken on the grill with all the sides. He sent plenty home with me for today.
I didn't make it out Fri to get my nails done so I will try again today.
I need to get out while its so nice.

Good morning cruise addicts. In the 40's here this morning. Just a slight chance of rain. Went early this morning and got my hair cut. It needed shaped up. Did some more painting yesterday, so today going to do some other chores around here. going out tonight with some of my lady friends to a fund raiser card party. The church usually has this two times a year, spring and fall. They always have great food at this event. But mostly I enjoy spending time with my lady friends.

Not much else going on tolday. Everyone have a safe and enjoyable day.

DH had to take his car to the dealership this morning to have some kind of a special coating put on.

I am just doing odd chores around the house. Mainly putting pictures on Photobucket from cruises a couple of years ago.

Cold this morning -- in the 30's.

Kathy C - I was going to say the same thing - a weekend in Branson MO - - we sure would love to see ya!

Cold here in Ohio - - I do not know what happened to Spring but I want warm weather.

Jim and I have decided to go visit my mom the middle of May - we will drive down and take our time. I am trying to talk him into stopping to visit a couple Addicts on the way - but he is a get in the car and go kinda guy! lol Funny as he always says he wants to get away - yet when we get in the car he is non stop driver! lol We will see.

Nothing on the books for me today. I am really getting lazy at staying at home and doing nothing! lol

Hope I got this new web site booked - had to go in back door 2 times now. I still have to sign in as a quest every time I post and then I have to "Quote" someone and erase to post - - it is really a mess! Oh well worth it to visit my addicts! lol

Good morning. It* is cloudy & trying to rain here. But warm.

Every time we go grocery shopping, while Alf pays the bill I go visit my friends at the Lotto desk & end up buying a ticket. I was getting very discouraged because I was not getting anything & was going to quit buying but yesterday I won over $2400! So I was doing a happy dance!

We got some hanging baskets yesterday. My they are big! The place where we usually get them hasn't opened yet so we got them at another place for twice the price! I still want a few more so hopefully the place where we usually get them will get their act in gear & open up.

Alf is like Jim - get in the car & go from point A to point B with no stops on the way.

Jan, You dinner at Brians sounds delicious. The best part is taking some home with you.

KK, I have some of our photos on photobucket too. The other I have on a disc. Of course before the newer camera came out, we have tons on pictures stored in photo boxes.

Donna, I think it's a man thing..hurry and get where you going. It's nice that you will be going back in May to see your Mom. How is Jim's Mom doing now... any better?

Liz, Congratulations on your winnings. good for you!

Gram, Enjoy the evening out with your lady friends. You earned a night out with all the painting that you have been doing.

I am worn out for sure which is compounded with my frustration with all that I need to get done to get this house ready for sale but no time to get it done with kids all week & helping somebody else all weekend. We really need to get into a ranch style.

Donna, I used to have to log in here every day to post until I got rid of my ancient computer & got this laptop.

I would love to go to Branson in the fall. Haven't been there in years. It is such a beautiful part of the country, especially in the fall but my only focus right now is getting rid of this house & getting something else to make my life a little easier.

Am I the only one missing the "like" button today?
