$50. credit

    Just incase some of you cruisers have not received this info yet. . . I got it off of the cruise crittic boards,
    and it worked for me!!! I emailed coupons@rccl.com requesting they credit my reservation $50.00 per coupon code: KABD and they did! I sent my email on Saturday, March 18th and today Wed March 22 I got an email from them stating they had received my information and applied the credit as submitted.
    Thanks to someone named Molly on the boards!!! Yeah $50. more for me towards mango tangos!!!
    Apparently you had to book your reservation between 2-1-06 and 4-1-06 to qualify. It's worth a try !!! I hope this helps someone else!!!!

    I recently booked a cruise for Sept. with RCCL. Could you let me know more info regarding Molly's post. I love to save money! What qualifies a person for this credit?

    All you have to do is email "coupons@rccl.com" and tell them you have a coupon for a $50.00 stateroom credit with the coupon code being "KABD" and would they please post this to your reservation. You just had to book your cruise between 2/1/06 and 4/1/06 it does not matter when you sail only when you booked it. Alot of people have done this as well as myself and it has worked. In a few days you will receive a email in response from them stating: "Thank you for using our online coupon redemption center! We have received and applied your Royal Caribbean International coupon as submitted.'' Then you can go to the Royal Caribbean web site and log on to "My cruises" and see it posted for yourself! Easy and a little more for you to enjoy on your trip!! I hope this helps you. The original thread is still on the cruise crittic boards somewhere but I couldn't find it right away to get it to you. As long as you booked your reservation between those dates it will work! I also submitted it for my mother who is sailing the same time as us and she received the credit as well. Happy Sailing!!
    You also need to give them your information: Name, booking number, and sail date.
     
  4. I have a question for you....do you have to have booked direct with RCCL for this work..... or will it work if you have booked with a TA...

    I got a $100.00 coupon in the Crown and Anchior magazine because I am a past cruiser. When I called RCL they told me to call my TA. I did they called RCL and I got a $100.00 refund.

    So I would say if you book through a TA RCL wants all changes and such to come through your TA.

    When did this coupon come. We are past cruiser we RC (Feb. 07) and have not seen a Crown and Anchor Magazine yet. We have another cruise planned and would love to reduce the cost if at all possile,

    I e-mailed my request a day or so ago. When in my cruises, I don't see where it will be posted. I don't expect to see it yet, but I would like to know where to look . Please excuse me if it's right in front of my face, this is my first cruise, and there's alot of info

    Thank you all for this advice. I emailed the minimum info last Sat. and had not heard anything all week. I sail tomorrow. This morning, I pulled up my bookings (2 cabins) on the RCCL website, and there it was. Another $50 off per cabin! This is after a Diamond discount of $200 per cabin. I really didn't think they'd do both, but they did. Thanks to the first poster!

    They emailed me back this morning and said they applied credit- I just don't know where i'd see it unless it's going to be a shipboard credit. Thanks

    I emailed them on Mar. 20th and never heard anything. Could it be because we have only put down the deposit and haven't paid it in full? We don't have to pay in full until Sept.. and are trying to wait until then so we can make absolutely sure that one person in our party can go. Any ideas>

    Well they told me they applied it for me. I can not see anything on my reservation at the RCCL site, so I will have to wait until I get onboard on the 17th of this month to see if they applied it as a shipboard credit.

    I checked and our credit is listed in the Full Summary Details link on the RCL web site. The credit was listed as other options.

    I must be obtuse because I received an email for my credit but don't see it under the Full Summary Details. I will just wait it out. :) The email also said they reserve the right to visually inspect the original coupon. Doh! LOL. Thanks!

    Same here. Got e-mail but no sign of credit anywhere. If it happens it happens.

    Did not see it in the full summary. There isn't any "other options" in my summary. Oh well we will see if there is anything once on the ship. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

    The real strange part is I never received an E-Mail about the credit it just appeared on my summary. Hope it works for everyone always makes a cruise better when you can save a few bucks........

    I think it took a few days between receiving the email from them and it showing up in "my summary."......in my case,the total owed reflected $50 less(for my upcoming Aug cruise).....booked thru RCCL.

    I also got it applied to my upcoming May cruise(booked thru a TA).....I just told him over the phone what i had....told him it was a "Friends coupon" and it took..........for both cabins(ours and my daughter).......

    So you see,it worked 3 times for me................both thru RCCL and thru my TA......(tu)

    BTW-they have pulled the thread an any mention of it on the CC boards.....

    Maybe I'll have DH call and ask.. we never got an email and it doesn't show up.. not too trusting on the email because they were supposed to email us the details when we made the deposit and never did.. had to call back a few days later and it was like pulling teeth!

    what if its already been paid in full....???

    the summary screen is blank as far as any credit showing up, but i did recieve the email stating that its been applied
