Amsterdam's Council Chef's special foods

    In January there was a special meeting on the Noordam of the Council Chef's and the Amsterdam had item from all 6 members on our cruise.

    1st evening - Embarkation Day - Chef David Burke

    offered 2 entrees
    (1)Spice Crusted Prime Rib with Whipped Potatoes
    (2)Roasted Chicken with Sausage Cornbread Stuffing

    3rd evening - Ketchikan - Chef Jonnie Boer
    offered an entree and a dessert
    (1)Beef Strip Loin with Hache Sauce
    (2)Brioche Toast with Caramelized Apricots

    5th evening - Juneau - Chef Marcus Samuelson
    offered an entree and a dessert
    (1)Grilled Salmon with Tomato Broth
    (2)Chocolate Cake with Blueberry Cream

    8th evening - Anchorage - Chef Jacques Torres
    offered 2 desserts
    (1) Chocolatte Platter
    (2)Crepes with Caramelized Pears

    9th evening - Homer - Chef Charlie Trotter
    offered 2 entrees
    (1)Opakapaka with Bleeding Heart Radishes
    (2)Grilled Venison Loin with Dates

    13th evening - Last Sea Day - Chef Rudi Sodamin
    offered 2 entrees
    (1)Seared Cajun Tuna Steak
    (2)Veal Chop with Creamy Porcini Sauce

    Being on a longer cruise -- all 6 chef's offerings were available.

    But I imagine that on the shorter cruises -- only a couple of chef's offerings will be available.
