A few more of our roll call friends have stopped by.....

One of our fine feathered friends also dropped by.....

We had a great day at Half Moon Cay. The day went pretty much like this. Float around in the water while drinking a couple of beers, out for a bathroom break, into the cabana for snacks, grab a few beers and repeat, repeat, repeat. We didn't even bother going to the Island BBQ for lunch. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, so about 20 minutes before the last tender left, we made our way to the Rumrunner Bar to wait.....

The tender that left before us is debarking at the forward door. We debarked at the midship door.....

Once back on our balcony, Patti got these last shots of HMC as we sailed away.....

We'll be back again next year.....

We were so exhausted that we both took a power nap before dinner.

Tonight, for my starters, I had two shrimp cocktails and the fire roasted chicken.....

For my main, I had the blackened tilapia.....

Patti started off with the shrimp cocktail, a Caesar salad, then for her main, the vegetable lasagna.....

For dessert, Patti had butter pecan ice cream, while I tried the chocolate cake.....

Afterwards, Patti was still feeling tired, so after checking emails, she went back to the cabin. I went and played blackjack for a while, and once again winning a little bit. I think I was back in the cabin by 11. Here is tonight's towel animal.....

Coming up next: Our umpteenth visit to Nassau. Let's do something different today!!

Barb and I discuss our plans for the day.....

Speaking of plans, here are ours for today. First, let me tell you that my cruise history tells me that this is our 16th visit to Nassau. That doesn't count the 10 or so times that my friends and I flew in on golf vacations, staying at hotels on Paradise Island, and Cable Beach. We have done just about everything there is to do in Nassau, a lot of them twice or more. But today we are going to try something we've never done before, a day pass to the British Colonial Hilton. Patti had seen some positive reviews of this location right here on Cruise Critic, so what the heck! We booked in advance online (resortforaday dot com), the price being $60 per person, but you got a food and beverage voucher of $40 per person back. Sounds like a good deal to me! The deposit at the time of booking was $12 per person, and you paid the balance upon arrival. If you don't wish to book in advance, they will take walk ups, if available, for $65 per person. Just be aware that they do not take cash, and all transactions are done with a credit or debit card.

We waited for the initial rush of passengers debarking, and about 8am we left the ship to head to the British Colonial Hilton.....

Patti and I have arrived at the British Colonial Hilton.....

The British Colonial Hilton Lobby.....

We checked in at the front desk. We paid our balance due, and received our wristbands and food and beverage vouchers. We were told that we could use any lounger, sun beds, etc, that we wanted. Once through the doors to the patio and beach area, the first thing we saw was the Carnival Fantasy backing into her berth.....
