    Lisa...

We were in cabins 516 and 518. Sounds like you're on the same side as we were, so expect sunny balconies in the morning, but shaded the rest of the day. Surprisingly, you don't hear much noise coming from above...that is until the weee hours of the morning, when you hear people moving deck chairs. If you're directly under the Horizon Court, you should be okay. You will have a wonderful time!

Thanks Brett! We're are not too far from the Aft pool so I think we can head there if it is sun we're seeking. It snowed here in Cincinnati yesterday; we are really ready for sunshine!

    Hi Brett,

I just read a review from this site on the Caribbean Princess. This person was also on the maiden voyage. She said the ship was overun with unruly kids?? Did you experience this?? I am booked on the Caribbean Princess (11/13/04) and was a little concerned after reading the review.

    Thank you!

    Tazzy...

It did seem that there were a good number of teenagers on board, but I didn't experience anything negative. Sorry if I wasn't more help.

    Brett,

Thanks for the response. I am booked in a mini suite (D219) on the Dolphin deck is this a good location?? I'm new to cruising. I keep hearing about the fabulous verandahs on the Caribe deck and am wondering if I will be happy on the Dolphin.
Can't wait to read your review when you post it!

I think you'll be very pleased with this location and balcony size...although, any balcony is a great balcony.

    Brett,

When you say the Horizon Court closes at 05.30 is that in the evening (at dinner time) or in the morning (lets say before breakfast....)? Whe want to use the HC for dinner, since we are not the restaurant type of people.

Is there free ice cream during the day ?

Do you now if the HC compares to the Windjammer on RCCL ?

    Thanks

    Kbisok...

The Horizon Court is open for breakfast every morning and throught the day. However, it seemed to close every evening around 5:30...that's when the Cafe Caribe opened for dinner (buffett style), which is located next door to the Horizon Court.

There is ice cream at "Scoops", but there was a charge. I didn't see anywhere where you could get free ice cream.

    Sorry...never been on RCCL.

    Hope this helps!

    Brett
