Back from a family weekend (12 adults and 3 children). The ship was fine for 3 days, but having been spoiled on Millie and Vision of the Seas, this ship lacked a lot. But, we still had a ball and the casino seemed to have looser slots than most. Everyone in our group won something.
I've posted a short review.
Glad to be home.

Hi Judy! My husband was on the VS the weekend before you and said the same thing. He could really tell that the ship is ready to move on to a European market. This was his second time on this ship. It was hard for him not to compare it to the newer, nicer, bigger ships too.

When we went on it eight years ago it was a BIG contrast to Nordic Empress by RCL - yet we had a great time and the outdoor cafe on the back was great! Did you go to Catalina? Any tips on LA? I'm leaving on the Elation in a week and a half - can't wait!!! :) Debbie

We stayed at the Best Western which was across the street from the piers. The cruise ships were down about a 1/4 mile, but visable from front facing rooms, The motel had a shuttle and you could park for free during the cruise too. The charged us $66. and it included breakfast.
