Caramel Apple Crisp

    1 bag caramels
    2 Tablespoons water

    7-8 apples, peeled and sliced

    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    1 cup flour
    1 cup oatmeal
    2/3 cup butter or margarine

    Spray a 9x13 pan with PAM (or similar product). Put apples in. Melt the caramels and water on the stove or in the microwave. Drizzle the caramel mixture over the apples.

    Mix the topping ingredients together - I cut my butter in with my pastry blender. Sprinkle topping over the apples/caramel mixture.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes depending on how tender you like your apples.

    Serve with ice cream and watch this dessert disappear!
