We have had correspondence back and forth with Princess requesting compensation for our airfare, pre and post cruise lodging and other expenses associated with the aborted B212 Southern Caribbean cruise experience. They are totally intransigent. To them, giving everyone a refund for their cruise fare is totally just compensation for a ruined holiday. We lost income, wasted vacation days, have been unable to recover pre-booked private tour fees and had to pay additional airfare to attend our daugher's white coat graduation function scheduled for the date we were to have visited Bonaire. Our airfare to San Juan cost us more than the cruise. All this wasted time and expense to sit at a dock in San Juan (one of the last places in the Caribbean we ever wanted to go back to after over 10 visits there). We estimate lost income and expenses to be approximately $15,000. No price set on inconvenience, disappointment and anxiety.

We have been in contact with a prestigious legal firm willing to initiate and litigate a class action on behalf of passengers on Cruise B212. If you were a passenger on this cruise and would like to be listed as a party to this action, let me know.

Read the fine print in the signed contract???? did you purchase cruise insurance..?? no PORT IS A1 Guaranteed.....Cruising 101...
and having said that I'm sorry your trip was not all you wanted/planned..but they are *NOT* obligated to give you a DIME..
and if you did NOT protect yourself with travel insurance..you are up a creek without a paddle..best of luck but in truth you are not in line to get anything after you sign the passenger contract agreement, and make final payment.
    after all these years.
you should know....you get what you pay for..and that is THE CRUISE.....unless you purchase special PRINCESS Travel insurance..obligation ends at THE fare paid for -of the cruise itself....Good luck.
.were it an island all inclusive they would not refund anything above the stay itself either...and you know that too.they would not cover air, time off etc...JMHO.........
