We have a chance to upgrade to a 9A on the Pride from an 8I aft cabin for a minimal cost. Is it worth it? Any help is appreciated since we leave in a few weeks. Thanks

It's kind of an individual thing as to whether it is worth the extra money. What you will get is a significantly larger cabin with a larger balcony. It's your call.

The Cat 8 I balcony is wider than a normal 40SF one. The cabin is 185SF. What are the demension of the Cat. 9 cabin? The balcony? Where is the cabin number located? Where is the 8 I located? What is above each cabin. I have had an 8 I and was pleased. Our dining room companions found their Cat 8 I to be in a noisey area but they were more mid-ship. This was on the Pride, which is the same layout as the Legend. If you have a special question, I would be glad to offer you my opinion. I do have my brochure with me in the office.

We are in cabin 8270 now. The 9A is 7299 by the elevators on the Veranda deck. Thanks for your input. This cruise is very special for us (our 1st cruise and 11th anniversary) and I want to make the right decisions. Willa

  5. Unless you plan on spending a lot of time in your cabin, I would opt for the lesser and save the $$ toward other items.......or your next cruise!
