    here is the clock that I found. Just change the month (03 to whatever) and the day (21 to whatever day) and there you have it.

    hope it works for you.

    at the begining put a [ in front of the img. also change your hours (16:00) to your departure time.

    copy the above, change the month (03) and the day (21) to your sailing. Also at the very beginning in front of the img place a [ so it looks like this [IMG]

    It is 12 miles from the airport. Taxis and airport shuttle buses charge 12 p/p each way flat rate. We are a family of 7 and got a limo for cheaper than a taxi or shuttle bus (75 total). Our hotels are the Radisson and Hyatt Regency which are supposed to be within a few blocks (we'll see!) Hope that helps! If you have several people traveling opt for the limo, I can give you their info.

    The clock is hosted by Cruisemates. It is not very nice to use it on this board.

    Take Care,

    I would like to take a minute of your time and apologize for the trouble with the count down clock that I posted earlier. As i stated then I had found this clock on another site, Cruisemates.Com I did not stop to think about the trouble and time they went through to set it up for there members (which I am one) when I passed it along here. I have removed it from my signature on this site and hope that the rest of you will also. I am hoping maybe someone can design one for us to use on this site. Again I wish to apologize to all of you for the trouble that this may have caused.

    I have posted over @ cruisemates for last year too and I had no idea either Randy. I removed mine as soon as I read this. Maybe we can just give eachother a "heads up" every now and on how many days we have left :lol You know, I may forget to pack.....thanks for the note.

    Well this is our first cruise and we will also be sailing Mar 21 out of New Orleans on the Conquest. So I'm open for any and all suggestions!. Thanks, Lisa from Ky

    We have a solution now.. Our own. :)

    Well here it is............................

    We still have some fine tuning to do as right now you can not adjust the time
    to offset for time zones so depending on where you live you could be off by up
    to three hours, but think of it like if you are sailing out of Florida, your on local time.
    This will be fixed as soon as I can spend a little time working on the script.

    In the meantime play around a little...............................

    <img src=http://cruise-addicts.com/countdown.php?month=04&year=2004&day=14>

    Change the month to equal the month you are sailing in, 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,
    The year is fine unless you are counting down to 2005 then just change it to 2005.
    Change the day to the day of the month you are sailing, if it is less then the 10th make
    sure you put a 0 in front, the day has to be two digit.
    That's it , just make it look like the sample above and you get the results below.

    <img src=http://cruise-addicts.com/countdown.php?month=04&year=2004&day=14>

    I need to add that the copyright is not for the script, I am not the originator of that
    I have only re written parts of it to make it work for us. The copyright is for the
    background graphic..

    Welcome aboard Lisa and ?,

    Not really sure of what to tell you other than to have fun. If you are going to be arriving in New Orleans the day before, be sure to check out the french quater, that goes without saying. Arrive at the ship early to get onboard and look around. Other than that I am at a loss on what to tell you. If you have more direct questions ask and some one here will be able to help you out. How many are in your party, ages, what do you like to do? Hope to hear from you again.

    This is for Nan, I thought about clothes again, so did my wife, she got the check book first. Oh well at least I am beginning to think now right.LOL

    It's funny you should put Lisa and ?. That ? would be my husband Randy. We also have a daughter named Randi.

    Embarkment time is 1:30. Does that mean the time we board? And how early is early? When we go ashore what are some good things to take with us? I know I sound like just a newbie. Bear with me and thanks again....Lisa
