Dubrovnik--Don't do the "Cavtat" tour...Cavtat was sort of a waste of time...Dubrovnik is one of those cities you can do on your own if you want...The city is intriguing and picturesque...You can walk on the walls...

Corfu--Take the excursion that takes you to the Achilleion Palace and Paleokatsritsas...it's a relatively inexpensive and takes only half a day and leaves you with plenty of time in town on your own...And getting to the Achilleion on your own isn't that easy...plus you get a nice overview of the island BEYOND the city...

Back in town, go have lunch at "Pizza Pete's"...(Yes, that's the name)...it's along the cliffs just south of the harbor...the tables are on a patio across the street from the kitchen--get a table along the rail...the view is outstanding, the water so clear you can watch the schools of fish below...

The go explore one of the old fortresses that guard the town...and then wander the strets of the old city and...shop...the old city is charming and shopping is good...

    Have fun...
