Deaths on Carnival cruise ships follow a year where more than 30 died unnaturally while on vacation liners

The fatal falls of two Carnival cruise passengers in less than a week come after a year where vacation liners saw more than 30 unnatural deaths, according to an online monitor.

There were 46 deaths during cruises and their excursions ashore, including 31 not of natural causes and 10 passengers or crew members who died after falling either overboard or from a balcony, reports gathered by Cruise Ship Deaths show.
