I recently received a survey about the benefits of being a Diamond or Platinum member .. The obvious advantage are the special "check in" area and the concierge lounge .... I'd like to hear from others what additional benefits we should be entitled to.

My suggestion is that there should be a Express Luggage Delivery, free cokes card and cappucinos .. Frankly with the exception of the Casino Match Play ... I have no use for the booklet.

Looking forward to hearing other suggestions and Ill pass them to Crown and Anchor Desk.

You do get free capuccinos and expresso on the ships that are equipped with a Concierge Lounge. I'm a Diamond Plus and I use only a few coupons out of the book, sometimes. With the exception of using the Concierge facilites, I don't bother with any of the other "perks."

Opps forgot what I wanted: FREE INTERNET would be nice or more than the alotted minutes they give us with the coupon. :lol
  3. Can you be a gold member and still use the C&A lounge?

  5. Whats wrong with gold members and enchantment?

We're gold members and were just on the Enchantment of the Seas and the sign at the door said Platinum and Diamond members. So I assumed we were not allowed in?? Lori
  7. That would be enough for me LOL!

the Lounge is only available to platinum and diamond ... i have a feeling it soon will be only diamond because of so many members ...

as to the free capucino ... i was referring to in the dining room / restaurants ... i enjoy going every morning to the lounge for my smoked salmon and cappucino

Free Internet ... for sure ... fyg just off the Empress ... they charged 25 cents a min for a crazy slow connection

    anything else we deserve?

I thought the concierge lounge was for Diamond and Diamond Plus only........when did they let Platinum in????? Not on the Explorer in June.

    Free Internet would work.

There is a coupon for the real Seattle best coffee in the coupon book. I'm fortunate no one in my family drinks coffee......I get all 4 coupons.

We are Diamond Plus. Here's some of the things I suggested for Diamond + to the Loyalty Ambassador on the last cruise:

Free or drastically reduced cost internet access [WIFI].
Free or drastically reduced cost laundry / dry cleaning.
Free upgrade at time of booking.
Guaranteed window table in dining room.
One free shore excursion each cruise.
    Upgraded toiletries in stateroom.
    Dining with a ships officer.
Guaranteed robes in the room at boarding [they ran out on last cruise and we couldn't get any]

The difference between Diamond and Diamond + is very lame [amenity in cabin]. They say you will be offered an upgrade 2 weeks out....but we have never seen an upgrade...they save them for last minute bookings and sales on the pier....so there is low likelihood of upgrades. Kind of pitiful for C & A members with 24 plus cruises.

Hope this helps give you some ideas. Wish I had received the survey

I think they are talking about the departure lounge.....not the Concierge Club.

Rose aren't you almost a Diamond Plus by now? I thought you and I were neck and neck. :lol

The last few times I have sailed on the Adventure Platinum and Diamond members were allowed in the Concierge Lounge. That room was so crowded at times.

Why do you want to dine with one of the officers??

Hi Roland....how are you feeling? We still on for Stockholm next July?

Well, I was trying to be reasonable in my requests....based on the high numbers of Diamond +, I don't think it's possible to accomodate every one at the Captains table where I would much prefer to be. [And deserve to be, I might add.....HeeHeeHee]

Would you like to be at the Captain´s table on the JW next July?

Hey San & R, don't forget me...... I'll be there too.....

No Bill, he doesn't need to check with anyone.

Yes Roland, I'd be delighted to dine with the Captain of Jewel.

Anyway, Bill and Marcia...how about some suggestions for Crown and Anchor?

Your's sound pretty good San, I could always use the internet with more free time. As other have said, it is so slow, that you use up a lot of minutes.

And I could always use the better toiletries.

I think those coupon books are a PITA to use....the extras should be linked to ones SeaPass card instead of having to carry the stupid book. I hate going down and standing in line to redeem the Internet Coupons....shouldn't have to stand in line on vacation. Guess that's the point though....coupon books sound good, but a lot of people will neglect to use them because it is a PITA.
