I agree, It used to be - you got a discount on purchases in the shops just using your sea pass. And as others have said, I don't use most of the coupons. Internet, gift shop, maybe wine tasting and maybe the photo shop pictures. Never use the Bingo and gambling, and that is what most of then are.

Well, the coupon I do use is the one for the Casino where if you give them $10 they give you $12. There's three coupons like that and they usually just hand me the $6 and I leave.

Bill,

If I had known Tony wanted to dine with the Captain,
I could have asked Thore when the JW was in STO
the day before yesterday!

Meaning two more (you and Carl) at Captain
Thorolvsen´s table?

Absolutely, I have never had the honor of dining with the Captain. And is he the one who will be on next July. When we did the Trans Atlantic last September, it was Captain James McDonald. Have not met Captain Thorolvsen. What would be perfect would be for you and your lovely wife to also be there.

San, I suggested free laundry and internet. I don't mind the coupons that much and just wait until there are only a few guests at the purser's desk to turn the internet coupon in.
Guess the captain isn't very powerful if just any Diamond plus member can sit with him and he doesn't get to choose. ;-) I'm sure that he would be impressed to be able to be at your table though San.
Rita and I may be on the Enchantment cruise just before yours. RCI is offering a Seminar at Sea for a limited number of TAs on the Sept. 18th cruise and Rita has indicated her interest. If we go, we will just about have time to do our laundry after the Jewel Transatlantic.

Then it´s about time you have the honor Marcia.
I don´t know yet if Thore will be Master on your
sailing next year. James McDonald is supposed
to take over the JW from Thore any day now.

Are you sure D+? According to Mrs Bang, Leif Bang
was to leave the NV when she was going to dry dock
in May. But my manning list states that he was to be
relieved by Rick Sullivan July 2!?!

Speaking of coupon books. Our TA gave us a coupon book from the RCCL rep. in our area. The coupons were expired. LOL Not much we could use anyway.

With an attitude like that - you will spend your life eating alone. I find that I can enjoy and learn from all people, no matter what job they hold in life. A Captain of a ship can be one of the most interesting people in the world to talk to, and they are always the Gentleman.
Sure must be nice to feel superior to the rest of the "hired help". NOT.

That's OK, because they don't usually want to eat with the cargo, BP.

BTW, I think Anthony and Angeline should dine with the Captain also, as they will be with us. They dined with Captain McDonald on Brilliance, Nov 2003. Thomas arranged it, Roland.

A friend of mine was on Navigator for the July 9 Cruise. The Captain's name was Sullivan from South Africa.

Sounds like Captain James will be taking us back across the Atlantic, which makes me feel very comfortable. This will be the third time we have sailed with him and you can always count on being kept advised of what is going on, and, if there are any changes, the reasons for those changes. Any idea who the CD will be?
I'll sit with anyone as long as they don't exhibit the attitude shown by BP in what I am sure was meant to be humorous.

You are right Tony about Anthony and Angeline, since they were left out at the "family" dinner we had with TW and Linda on the BR back in 2002!
As for the NV, Rick Sullivan is Leif´s reliever.

Angeline and Anthony, of course.

Tony, looks like you and I can play together in the Sand Box. How many posts do we need to graduate?

Bill, if you would book the same cruises as others, you would have someone to eat dinner with>
