Has anyone taken a caribbean cruise in december or been in that area during the month of december? I know it's not going to be as warm as the summer months, but I am still hoping to be in my swim suit out by the pool everday.... hopefully the weather is nice enough for that!

Hi Rachel, We were in the Bahamas and Key West last January. It was cold and windy. We never got to sit by the pool.In the Bahamas all the beaches had red flags because of the wind. They said that it was unseasonaly cold. I hope the weather will be better for you. We still had a great time......any cruise is a good one. Karen

Depending on the weatherfronts that move thru it could be coolish around Florida and the Bahamas. St Thomas and St. Maarten will provide U with more than enough Sun and warmth to get your use out of your swimsuit. Enjoy!! :thumb

We were in St Thomas and St Maarten the week before Christmas in 2001 and the weather was very warm, mid 80's as I recall. Christmas decorations were everywhere on the islands and it seemed odd, but I guess not so odd to the natives. When we stopped off in Princess Cays on the return leg, temps had cooled to the mid 70's. Good luck!
  5. We started in Tampa and went as far as Aruba the first two weeks in December 2002. The weather was great for the most part. Especially from San Juan on to Aruba. If you were staying on one island for a week I would be concerned. You will move into sun!
