Yes, in Alaska cruise in 2000 - actually did a pre cruise in Vancouver and then 9 days post in Alaska! Loved it?

Do you usually book one of the speciality places to eat?

We always book specialty restaurants as well as special cellar master's dinners.

Have you ever "reserved" a lounge chair and then left to participate in games elsewhere on the ship?

Never! I think that is just plain rude. If your bum isn't in the chair it isn't your chair anymore!

Have you ever lost money in the Casino? (The reason I ask is because I have never met anyone yet who didn't come out at least even!‚Äč How is that possible?)

Yup! Lost my weekly $20... broke even one day or ahead and then blew my $5 the next day... does that make you sad for me?

We've travelled HAL lately and won't go to the older ships now that we've had a taste of the Tamarind..how about you? Do you still like the older ships after you've tried a novelty on the newer ones, whether it's ziplines, new specialty restos etc??

We still ike the older ships for the smaller crowds and the intmiate feel. As long as they still have decent cabin room and are well maintained.

Have you ever walked out of a "show" on a cruise? I have thought about it, but have not done it yet.

Yes...some singer that was so bad we could not bear it any longer and honestly we were starting to talk together and make nasty remarks. It was awful and it was time for us to leave.

Were you ever moved to tears at a performance on board?

Have you ever participated in Karaoke on a ship?
No, I've never PARTICIPATED, but have attended and laughed through a few. It's not that I have to be medicated to sing, it's just better if everyone listening is...

Have you ever snuck an extra piece of "pillow candy" off the steward's cart in the passageway? :diablo:

:whistle:we have had 2 entrees..the second one was a "mini" we split...

have you ever participated in the "make a drink" with the staff and won one??..

I have won the martini...it was an Appletini and yummo..

just as by the way...I was also picked many, many years ago as a " Hair model" for the french braids on Formal Night..I got a free do..the Salon ladies commandeered me as I had the longest hair on ship...hehehe...down to my bum...so they begged to have my hair for the demo...and I almost fell over when I found what the charge was...50.00 for a wash, dry, braid, and style... back in 1996..LOL..!!!

Not that I knew personally....but I am sure it has happened!! We did have a table for 8 in the dining room and a gentleman at our table had a stroke while eating dinner! He was taken off the ship in St. Thomas and I am glad to say he made a full recovery.

Have you ever had to cancel a cruise during the penalty period?

Yes -- snow destroyed part of our house, I fell and broke my wrist in 2 places, death in family. Insurance covered 2 of the 3.

Have you ever sent an entree back to the kitchen?

Have you ever sent an entree back to the kitchen?
Yes, on our most recent cruise we sent the fish back to the kitchen, as it was spoiled. We'd had things we didn't like, but never something that was BAD before. The Maitre' d was uninterested in our complaint. Very strange!

Have you ever shut down a venue (bar, lounge, etc.)--been the only reason the staff had to hang around?

Only once -- when we were invited to dine with the captain (just once in over 140 cruises) -- all of us were the last ones out of the dining room. All the other tables had already cleaned up for the night.

Have you ever gotten the Noro Virus on a cruise?

Yes and No.....I wouldn't say that I didn't enjoy the cruise, but perhaps I enjoyed it the least compared to others.
